			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the things that I love about this time of year is the increasing activity of the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anole">Anoles</a> in my back yard.  Maybe it&#8217;s because of my fond memories of playing with now-threatened <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horned_lizard">horned lizards</a> as a kid.</p>
<p>This afternoon, one of them caught my eye.  So, I grabbed my G10 to get a few snaps.  Here are a few pictures that demonstrate their chameleonic behavior.</p>
<p>On this teak deck chair, he is a fairly dark brown.</p>

I startled him, and he hopped onto the flagstone.  His color is already beginning to change.</p>

<p>A quick hop to the wall covered in bougainvillea, and he is beginning to turn green to blend in with the leaves.</p>
